On Martin Luther King Day, my Mom and I went to Glen Ivy in Corona to spend the day together.
We both had a good time and spent most of our day relaxing by the pool. During the times we weren’t relaxing, one of us was either in the hot tub or taking a mud bath. Later that day, my Mom and I went to the 2pm aerobics class and got ourselves a good workout. My Mom and I had a good time and I’m hoping to spend time with my Mom again soon.
Until next time,

Joseph Mark ..Joey as we called him, was full of life and loved by many and a friend to every one. I used to work with him as his job coach, he was one of my consumers I used to look after. He was a very good worker that we had at Wilden Pump, he always wanted to know every job that we had in the work area, and he always thought positive.
I remember one day Bryan, our boss, was giving us a lot of bands to do, and Joey with his smile said, “We will finish it today Bryan don’t worry.” And as he wanted to keep his word, after lunch time he came to me and he said,” Emma, I think we need help here to finish these bands.” Joey was a very kind person and would help anyone in need, but he had a bad habit where he didn’t like when Rosa and myself would correct his mistake. He would get so upset. Also if other consumers bothered me, he would say, “Don’t bother my job coach!”
Even when he was sick he would try to come to work. But one day he didn’t come to work. I called him to ask him how he was doing and wanted to tell him that I moved to another position or department and he told me that he will be gone forever and would not be coming back to work at ability counts anymore, and I asked him where he will be going, he said, “My mom will look for another program for me.
Anyway my sister wants me to move with her too.” So I said, “okay be good.” At that time I didn’t know what he meant but now I do, when I heard he passed away. Even with his disability he never stopped to moan. He surely was a great worker and he will be missed.
I hope when I remember Joey, I’ll have good memories about the times we joked and laughed together.
And when we cried with him when his grandpa passed away last year. Remember the funny things he’d say, and not lose heart because we will see him again.
Goodbye Joey!

I have a cat named Pumpkin and I love her very much. She is an orange cat with some light brown in her fur. My family got her in 2006 when I was volunteering at the Riverside Animal Shelter. My Mom had agreed to let my brother and me look for a cat and the moment we saw her we fell in love with her. My family and I love Pumpkin and we hope to have her around for a very long time.
Until next time..
