Neva Noland lived at the Enchanted Rainbow Residential care facility and enjoyed many outings with her group home. She started working at Ability Counts on January 11,1999, completing 19 years of employment. She worked in both Supported Employment and the Work Activity programs. She worked at the Central building, Corona and Riverside.
She loved working, especially boxing garment hangers. She also did well in the recent recycle contracts. Neva was very social and friendly, loved by all. She attended Friendly Stars social club every Friday night. She also belonged to a bowling league and was a good bowler. She enjoyed attending events held by ACI.
We were told by her Care Provider, while she was hospitalized, that she kept telling him she wanted to go back to work.
Neva Noland, a special lady, she enjoyed life.
She will be missed.
