Open Door Project Movie Day

On December 18th, Staff Member, Alma Reyna and her crew were treated to the movies with popcorn and snacks at Edwards Theater by the Manager of the Open Door Project. They watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi, then were taken to the BJ’s Brewhouse restaurant for brunch.

Thank You Open Door Project!

Visiting the Enclaves

New Case Manager Tiana Taylor wanted to meet everyone in her enclaves, so the Media Crew drove her around to each location, Wilden Pump in Grand Terrace, JB Hunt in Perris, and The Torilla Grill in Riverside.

She was welcomed with open arms.

Commendation for Howard Hanna

In September, Luther Doyle at Geodis recognized Howard “Rocky” Hanna for his hard work and cheerful disposition. He was awarded “Partner of the Month”, similar to “Employee of the Month” for people who work in the warehouse but are not GEODIS employees.

It was announced to him and everyone else who works there.

CONGRATULATIONS HOWARD HANNA!

Chamber of Commerce

Ability Counts has been a member of the Corona Chamber of Commerce since
1993. One of the chamber members paid a visit last week and presented this
brand new plaque. Gema Padillia volunteered to pose with the plaque.

Thank you Gema!

66’ers Game, July 2017

Ability Count’s staff transported about 20 consumers to the 66’ers baseball game. They were provided hot dogs, hamburgers and soda. The 66’ers played the Cucamonga Quakes. The Quakes beat the home team 4 – 2. After the game the crowd was dazzled by an awesome fireworks show.

GO QUAKES!
